Anyone seeing my latest cover from the “Her Peeping Tom” series probably believes right away that I’m either Erotic Book Marketing Stupid or thinks that I am too artsy for my own good.

Well, they may be right on both counts but I have to believe at least some of the people browsing through the large catalogs of erotic stories over at Amazon.com has to get tired and bored with seeing the same scantly clad models being used on every other cover design there.

So, given the premise of this series along with how it tries to pay homage to classic Pulp Detective stories that I love reading so much–everyone knows the two places to find me are at home or at the nearest Half Priced Books store–I thought I would try something a little different with the cover art that might either stand out from the crowd and attract some readers, or simply get lost in obscurity because it stands out from the crowd and readers don’t feel it fits in with what they’re seeking.

I hope it’s unique and attention getting, but if not that’s ok. I’m willing to take chances and having a blast writing these stories whether they sell well or not.
